How I Got Into This (2020)

I landed my first ever freelancing/agency client for $5,000 without prior experience or case studies.

This was in March 2020 when the pandemic first started.

I was living in Los Angeles at the time and everything was shutdown.

MANY local businesses like restaurants, gyms, and spas were forced to close down and struggled.

I created my first ebook, “Physical to Digital”, to help these businesses:

Meanwhile, the online e-learning industry was booming.

The stay-at-home orders meant that people were scrolling on social media a lot more, watching more ads, and buying more courses/programs online.

Entrepreneurs who took advantage of this made a lot of money.

It was also when coaches, consultants, & experts became aware that they can’t just rely on in-person networking events, seminars, or referrals alone. I decided to target them as an audience for the ebook, as I could reach out to them on LinkedIn.
